Imagine Loving Life

I work and work and work. Trying to make more money, filling up my bank account with more zeros as time goes on. I pretend that I am happy. I pretend that as long as I have money that I am happy. I try to forget what happiness is. I cling onto fear like a comfortable blanket that stabs me at night.

However as the morning sun peeked from the dark clouds of the mountain, bringing light to the beautiful valley, I get the feeling that I was happy… a sense of welcoming propagated through out my body, a warm and loving sensation penetrated deep into my soul, and a feeling that right here and right now was where I was meant to be.

The light illuminated the scenery like a path that whispered to me, “I’m taking you home where you belong.”
